Professor David Dodick

David W. Dodick is Professor Emeritus of Neurology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He is the founder and former director of both the Headache and the Concussion and Sport Neurology programs. He is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Neurosciences at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim Norway, Chief Science Officer of the Atria Institute, and Co-Chair of the Atria Academy of Science and Medicine. He is Co-Chair of the World Federation of Neurology’s World Brain Day 2022 and Co-Chair of the World Federation of Neurology’s Advocacy and Communications Committee. He is the Chair of the American Brain Foundation, the International Headache Society’s Global Patient Advocacy Coalition, and the International Concussion Society. He is the immediate past-Chair of the American Migraine Foundation, and former President of the International Headache Society and American Headache Society. He is the former editor-in-chief of Cephalalgia and has authored more than 900 peer reviewed manuscripts and abstracts and edited or authored 13 books.
