Dr Naimah Mohd Saleh

Dr Naimah Saleh was born and raised in Kedah, Malaysia. She completed her MBBS in 2008 from International Islamic University Malaysia. She subsequently pursued her knowledge in Internal Medicine and became the members of Royal College of Physician, United Kingdom in 2012. Due to immerse interest in Neurology, she started her Neurology training in 2016 under the Ministry of Health Malaysia and University Kebangsaan Malaysia. Dr Naimah had an opportunity to do her Fellowship in Stroke at Western Health, Melbourne Australia for 10 months in 2019.
She is currently the head of Neurology unit in Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Kedah, Malaysia. She has played a vital role as the state Neurologist, seeing all Neurology referrals from all over the state.
She is leading the Stroke Team at the same hospital, to ensure all acute stroke patients are managed appropriately, with the best care. Besides that, Dr Naimah also took the liberty to assist in training of the undergraduate medical students from the local university and post graduate students in Ophthalmology, Psychiatry as well as Primary Care Physician. She has regularly involved in Continuous Medical Education for the residents and registrar in the department. Dr Naimah has been participating in State and National congress as speaker and trainer. She has continuously updated her knowledge by participating in International Neurology congress and wish to provide the best care for her patient.
