The Asia-Oceania region, home to over five billion people, faces a significant burden from migraine and headache disorders, affecting over a billion individuals. Factors like population density, socioeconomic disparities, environmental triggers, and limited healthcare infrastructure contribute to this challenge. A shortage of headache specialists and inadequate headache training programs further exacerbate the issue, resulting in delayed diagnosis and poor management. Addressing these challenges requires collaboration and increased access to specialized care. The successful ninth ARCH meeting, with record attendance and expert contributions, marks a pivotal step in advancing headache education and care. We are now thrilled to announce the collaboration between the Asian Regional Consortium of Headaches (ARCH) and the Journal of Headache and Pain, launching an inaugural supplement alongside the 10th ARCH congress, aiming to transform headache medicine in the region.
